'Hadda' Blazer
Introducing “Hadda”, a mixed media collage panel sewed on a second hand Viscose/Linen Oversize blazer.
The collage is inspired by “Hadda”, also known as “Kharboucha”, a brave Moroccan poet, singer and political activist who fought against colonialism in the late 19th century.
“Hadda”, the central figure, is hand painted with non-toxic fabric colours. She is dressed in her traditional Moroccan gown, decorated with gold applications and a 3D turban.
Each section is decorated manually with a combination of techniques such as hand paint, appliques and hand embroidery. The use of second hand material is decisive for Mery Angelo Atelier.
For this collage a collaboration was made with embroiderer @nonna_mary, who created the Berber serving traditional Moroccan tea.
This unique collage with “Hadda”, the city, the patterns, the rugs, the cats, the cacti, Fatima´s Hand and the Berber, is combined to transport you into the exotic Morocco, just by looking at it.

- The elements, even though reinforced by the artisan, are still delicate. Treat as such.

Delivery takes place both within Germany and worldwide. Shipping is carried out by DHL with tracking and liability. Unless otherwise stated in the offer, the delivery time within Germany is a maximum of 3 working days. The delivery time within Europe is a maximum of 2 weeks, unless otherwise stated in the offer.
